The hotel is incredibly beautiful and fairly clean with amazing views of the lake. The rooms are gorgeous with nice beds, and the staff are helpful. The setting is magnificent and stunning, so close to the hillside next to Lake Peten, the garden area which was really part of the forest, and a foresty hill. We will be back, appreciated its location.

I had an amazing time at this lodge! The staff were so helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for my exploration of Tikal and Yaxha, as it was right in between the two. The lodge itself was beautiful, nestled on a hillside next to Lake Peten. The cabins were cozy and well-maintained, and I felt like I was truly immersed in nature. The food was decent, and I especially loved the made-to-order meals. The beds were comfortable, and I appreciated the mosquito nets provided. The property had a rustic charm with its thatched cabins and lush gardens. I even had the chance to go swimming in the warm lake across the street, although I would recommend bringing water shoes as it was rocky. my stay at Posada Del Cerro was fantastic and I would highly recommend it for a visit to Tikal.
Almost perfect! 😊

We got excellent value for our money at Posada Del Cerro. The room had a unique design, like a large treehouse, with open communication to the outside. The location in the jungle was breathtaking, with abundant bird and monkey sightings. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the open restaurant lounge had a relaxing atmosphere with a stunning view of Lake Peten Itza.
The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety.

I had a truly unforgettable stay at a quiet hillside guesthouse with a stunning view over the lake. The well-maintained, cosy cabins were charming and spacious. Despite some minor inconveniences like a saggy bed and misaligned mosquito net, the overall experience was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the Biotopo del Cerro Cahui reserve and enjoying the diving docks of the lake. I highly recommend this peaceful and nature-filled retreat.

The hotel offered breakfast and lunch, which was convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful, showing us the nearby animals. The view of the lake was amazing. The area was clean and well-maintained, showcasing the importance of nature conservation.
There wasn't much to do in the surrounding area. It was a bit far from the main road, making it difficult to explore other attractions.

The hotel grounds were clean and surrounded by beautiful gardens, creating a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. I also have to mention the great restaurant with its stunning views of the lake.
